Blog Censorship
In August 2007, Senate Republican Leader Mike Bishop blocked access to Blogging For Michigan. As a result, I was interviewed by several news organizations, and I had the privilege of writing an op-ed for the Detroit Free Press. Most of those articles are no longer available online. Here are some links to what’s left …
- Local woman’s blog targeted by GOP
- Bishop oversteps bounds by blocking pro-Dem blog
- Censorship in Lansing
- MI Senate blocks liberal blog, then relents
- Schauer, bloggers fight GOP over blog censorship
I should’ve thought to make pdfs of the others … especially the Detroit Free Press Op-Ed.
That. Was. Cool.
