Ok, well it’s the 5th of July now, but happy 4th anyway. I won’t lie and say I’m still working on the site. Not that it’s done, just that I haven’t been working on it for the past few months. I’ve just been too busy. Surgery + grad school + day job + BFM Media = no time for this site. Haven’t even been on the forums much. I do have a few new things i...

Hey everyone, meet my boss. Between work, golf, & golf, he doesn’t have a lot of spare time. That’s why I think it’s so awesome that he spends it on supporting his favorite causes. MDA serves people in our community with neuromuscular disease by providing clinics, support groups, assistance with the purchase and repair of wheelchairs, braces and communication devices, and...

Alright this is starting to make me mad. We’re paying for an advertising campaign to send traffic to the site, and we have ads on the site. BFM is losing readers and revenue. Last time BFM was down for nearly 8 hours. I don’t know what the problem is today but hopefully it will be fixed on EDT. Maybe we could get moved to a more reliable server. ...

I was just chatting with Chetly on another post and it occurred to me that I haven’t been here to cbdc in some time. Part of my problem is seasonal … I’m always busier during the summer than any other time of year. Part of it is that I have a ton of yard work that I do, but it’s primarily because of the work that I do, and the fact that my workload increases so much at t...

Corporate Media pundits and sell-out Democratic personalities are denouncing a return to the Fairness Doctrine standards in broadcasting eliminated by the Reagan Administration. They are falling into a trap set by the Republican Right and the largest corporations in America. Essentially, they are letti...

It’s It was Wizard’s b-day. Yesterday. I missed it. Wizard is the best blogger when it comes to state level issues. No other blogger can find the facts, weave them together, and put them out there in such an entertaining and insightful way. She’s also one of the very (very!) few who aren’t afraid to call out the Democrats when she thinks they are wrong. Thanks for ma...

Note: This piece was submitted by guest author Stephen Crockett, host of Democratic Talk Radio. The sudden rise of Fred Thompson as a leading Republican candidate for President shows that the Republican leadership still does not understand their impending implosion as a national political party. Thompson is a “sex-up” version of a failed product. With Thompson, voters are getting th...
