Ok, well it’s the 5th of July now, but happy 4th anyway.

I won’t lie and say I’m still working on the site. Not that it’s done, just that I haven’t been working on it for the past few months. I’ve just been too busy. Surgery + grad school + day job + BFM Media = no time for this site. Haven’t even been on the forums much.

I do have a few new things in the works. I’m curious about this Dr. Huff thing. Have you seen the Facebook group? (Innocent until proven guilty~ Dr. David Huff) His next court date is July 14, 1:00pm. Judge Dignan’s court. Supporters are being asked to attend. I’d like to attend just to see what the evidence is.

There are a couple of things that I’d like to look into. The Shiawassee Health Department and the Owosso DPS, specifically. Both require a lot of time though. The writing is easy, but the FOIAs and phone calls suck up your time.

I’ve been working with another blogger to set up a group of local investigative bloggers. We haven’t been too successful with that. Just can’t find anyone who has the time and interest in doing it. He’s also starting a newspaper in Ann Arbor. I’d like to see a lot of little citizen driven newspapers pop up in the void left by the larger papers that are shutting down. Seriously, Ann Arbor without a paper based paper? Just doesn’t seem right.
