Rabid Right Hypocrisy Crackin’ Me Up … this one was in response to all the comments in the forum about how the “free speech liberals” were suppressing free speech, and how only the Christianist pro-war nutbags were the only ones standing up for true free speech. This was so ridiculous I had to respond … I made the mistake of saying “both sides are guilty of stupid things …”.
This whipped them into a frenzy in the comment section, where JD promptly resorted to name calling … again. Then he moved on to a post about Nancy Pelosi’s botox, which I personally feel only underscores his credibility on issues such as civil discourse.
The rest of the right wing nutters jumped into the “liberal college campuses …” argument, but couldn’t bring themselves to admit that they weren’t puritans, even as they went on about Democrats being traitors, cowards, etc …
Sigh … it’s like trying to teach math to a worm …
But, moving on …
The other post is 2008 Is Coming. Color Me Underwhelmed. In this post I give mini-mini-briefs on why none of the candidates are getting me enthused about the election. However, I realized later that I forgot Bill Richardson, who is intriguing, and Dennis Kucinich, whose candidacy will make the war that much more painful to the other candidates.
I think I’m partial to a Gore/Richardson ticket … but I’m not sold on it yet.
