Now Playing - Harry Potter: Riddikulus!

On November 30, The Flint Journal ran an article on Bernie Butcher’s fundraiser. In this article, our very own Prosecutor Randy Colbry called my allegations “ridiculous”.

Gosh that hurt.

So in response, I am dedicating this week’s “Now Playing” to our Prosecuting Attorney.

This is from Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban. In this clip, Harry and his Defense Against The Dark Arts classmates are learning how to deal with a Boggart.

A Boggart knows what you are afraid of, and it turns itself into that which you fear most in order to scare you.

The defense against the Boggart is to point your wand at the creature and call out, “Riddikulus!”

This turns the creature into something that does not frighten you.

Randy Colbry scares the bejeezus out of me.

“Riddikulus!”

“Riddikulus!”

Sigh …. the spell isn’t real.
