Another Day Away From The Keyboard

The basement flooded Friday night, and I still have cleanup work to do.
I am pretty bummed about it … the flooding caused some boxes to fall, and as a result, we’ve lost a lot of books and papers. We had some nice older magazines get soaked through … very disappointing.
So … it’s back downstairs for another day in the damp. Sweet.
When I get back to the computer I’ll be working on the Shiawassee County Forum, which I had planned to launch by tomorrow.

That’s covered by homeowners insurance right? Also, a friend of mine in Holland had her basement flood and she called the city and they came and moved all her stuff and scrubbed the entire basement. Apparently it’s a health code issue, the city is responsible if you get sick from sewer back up, so they have a crew that handles it.
Just a thought.

Same thing here in GR- my dad’s basement flooded and the city took care of it, but they caused the problem in the first place. Something about them hooking up something wrong, I don’t remember. But check into it, you never know.
Boo Gators. But I hope they beat OSU.
The Rose Bowl will be fun- two teams with something to prove.
