I’m Cheering For Joey

I can’t help it. I like Joey Harrington.

I thought he got a raw deal in Detroit.

True, he could’ve been better … when he was good, he was very good. But he wasn’t good very often. To be fair, he was in a bad situation in Detroit. He did have to start right out of college … Detroit had no mentor QB for Joey. And the team wasn’t all that great. Joey was on his back half the time.

There was plenty of blame to go around for Detroit’s losing seasons.

I was totally prepared to cheer for Detroit today … Detroit is my team after all. But when Joey walked out onto the field and the Detroit fans heckled him … that was disgusting.

Today Joey made his first Thanksgiving touchdown pass … and then he threw a couple more. He’s having a pretty good game today. I think that’s great.

But it sucks that he’s doing it as a Dolphin.

Detroit screwed Joey. So when Detroit plays against Joey, I say, screw Detroit.

    I loved it. Normally I wouldn’t cheer against Detroit … but, you understand.
