There’s a cool series on Instigator Blog, and completely unrelated to my ‘5‘ …

In Join Me for Blog About 5 Things Week, Ben lists the advantages of blogging about ’5 things’:
In the spirit of Blog About 5 Things Week, here’s 5 reasons you should write a “5 Things” post:
1. It’s a challenging way to work on your writing.
2. It’s a great way to get some inbound links to your blog and make some new friends.
3. List-style posts are quite popular, so with a bit of social bookmarking, the community’s help and some luck, we can generate explosive traffic numbers.
4. Your community will appreciate it; they’ll get your valuable thoughts, insight and advice in neat little “5 things” packages.
5. It’s tons of fun!
I agree with every point … my ’5′ articles are among the most popular here, and they have the most staying power.
