Shiawassee Election Toolbox – Tips To Prevent Election Fraud When You Vote

Thanks to Kossak ‘Bookwoman’ for this list:

1. If you encounter long lines at your polling place take your complaint to a poll worker. Their job is to help you vote. If they won’t help you, get their name. And then use the toll-free election hotline 1-866-OUR VOTE

2. If your voting machine doesn’t work properly demand an EMERGENCY PAPER BALLOT—not a PROVISIONAL BALLOT!! And then demand that the offending machine be taken out of service.

3. Remember to use the whistleblower’s hotline number if necessary: 1-888-VOTETIP….and remember that you can create a photographic record on your cell phone. Or bring your camcorder into the voting booth if you feel the need.

Make sure your vote counts. Raise a ruckus if you feel something is wrong. If something doesn’t seem right, then it probably isn’t right.

If you have problems, questions, or see anything suspicious, you can also call the Shiawassee County Democratic Party Headquarters at 989-743-4171
.
