So I'm checking out the link from Kathy's post, when I came across this little piece of fluff:
One bright spot for the president and Republicans was that while about 60 percent said they had made up their minds about this year’s elections, 4 in 10 said it was too early ...

This time from Donald Clayton, on DetNews:
Did anyone note that the woman who ask the first question look like the same woman, had the same complaint, with the same number of children with the same business problems, as in one of DeVos’s ads??

This DetNews comment from Roger Crozier:
As a true Republican, I believe in small, minimalist government. State Government isn't the cause of Michigan's economic difficulties and it certainly isn't the cure (see Frank Beckman column stating the same). All industrial sectors in Michigan are doing well, EXCEPT the domestic automotive ...

This is an excellent comment on the DetNews forum, by someone calling him/herself "state worker":
After reading the comments here, I have been compelled to respond. There are certain facts that can not be denied and these facts have appeared in this very newspaper and others across our state, but ...

I'll admit, I'm a little nervous about this one. I wouldn't be, but who wants to go down to a team that wants revenge?
And no Manningham tonight. Bummer.
I have a soft spot for Joe Pa though. I felt kinda bad for him last year, losing to UM ...

Today is one of those days when I must cheer for MSU.
I'm coming to the game late ... just in time to see State get the ball back from OSU.
And they didn't get too far, Drew Stanton (the greatest ever .... b-a-r-f) gets sacked, and State has to ...

The Granholm For Governor Truth Squad has published a complete transcript of the 2nd debate. Thanks to Wizardkitten for the link.
The sad thing about a transcript is that it doesn't truly capture the style of the speaker. Amway Dick 'sounds' much better in print. For example, this ...

DeVos: “The governor needs to remember that the governor’s not the governor and ... the governor is the governor and not the judiciary. Uh, if it’s not constitutional, that’s something that the judges should decide. The governor should decide if it’s good policy, or not. And ...

Devos still looks shifty. Literally, shifty. He shifts back & forth. And he talks like a toon. He'll be clipping along at a normal page, andthenallofasuddenstartgoingonlikehehassomekindofdisorder --
and ... then ... he ... lowers ... his ... voice, ... and. says. it's. tragic.
ugh.
And the audacity of saying ...
