The winners of elections are determined by the party that does the best job at getting out its vote. I used to take comfort in that, because Dems were the best at it. We’re not the best at GOTV anymore, nor are we good at suppressing the other guy’s vote. (which should be a good thing, but since they do it to us, I say it’s an eye for an eye until things get straightened out) (many of my Dem friends disagree with this philosophy)
As this video demonstrates, getting out the vote is not a uniquely American problem. I am dedicating this to all the nitwits around the world who can’t be bothered to participate in their democracies.
