The Names Tell The Story …

Governor Granholm and Dick DeVos made a joint appearance at the Detroit Economic Club on Thursday. Both were asked to speak for 15 minutes. The Governor talked about many things, including her bi-partisan accomplishments, jobs plan, and her plan to create universal access to private health care.

Dick DeVos continued his “Michigan Sucks” campaign, complaining about how we’re the worst darn state in the nation. He made it clear to everyone that Michigan is crap, and the fault lies squarely on the backs of –
     A) Granholm
     B) the people of Michigan

And there is absolutely, most definitely and certainly no responsibility to be had by –
     A) his puppet legislature
     B) his puppet President
     C) himself

Oh, but that wasn’t enough … in an outrageously sleazy move that even Eric Scheibeler might not have seen coming, he then went on to blame the Governor for the deaths of several people.

“The names tell the story”, he said.

And with that sentence, Dick DeVos finally (accidentally) told the truth.

The names do tell a story.

And the names Frank Lopick and Patricia Olson tell the story of an Amway related murder. In Michigan. I guess he and the Governor will have to share responsibility for that one.

Yes, Dick, the names do tell the story, and the fact that thousands of Dick’s Amway/Quixtar victims remain intentionally anonymous for fear of their lives, livelihoods, or reputations … well, that tells a story too.

And look at that … I didn’t even mention Alterra.
