Debate Round Up - A Few Thoughts
October 10th, 2006 | by christine |Devos still looks shifty. Literally, shifty. He shifts back & forth. And he talks like a toon. He’ll be clipping along at a normal page, andthenallofasuddenstartgoingonlikehehassomekindofdisorder –
and … then … he … lowers … his … voice, … and. says. it’s. tragic.
ugh.
And the audacity of saying that he’d be fired if he performed as badly as the governor … interesting, since he’s bankrupted a few companies, and had to fight off more than a few lawsuits and allegations of fraud.
I like how he complains about all the complaining. And what’s with the moderators repeatedly asking “is your opponent being negative?” or “is your opponent bending the truth?” during the same debate in which they ask “why are you talking about each other when you should be talking about the issues?
Jeesh. Do the moderators understand the questions they are asking?
I’ll write a summary tomorrow.

I noticed that too. “Let’s talk about the issues”, and then they ask questions about the “tone” of the campaign.
Hope it went well at the DN- I don’t have the energy to go over and read. Maybe tomorrow.
What a nasty man this guy is. I said on my little summary, “darkness vs, the light”. He was so negative about everything.
And he has no plan. Nothing but “cut taxes, increase spending”. That’s it.
