Great Shot of Flint Weatherball
July 27th, 2006 | by christine |I recently posted a bit of snark that referenced the Flint weatherball. Since then, and since my corporate office is only a few blocks from the weatherball, I’ve found myself remembering how much fun I used to enjoy watching it. Not that it was an exciting view … no, it was just a big ball of color … but it was an attraction that my brother & I always looked for when we were stuck in the back seat as mom & dad drove through Flint. For the past week I’ve carried my camera with me, thinking I might get a good shot of the weatherball, since I couldn’t find one online.
But then, from one of the best photoblogs on the net, comes this excellent shot. Thanks again, Michigan In Pictures.

In reference to your piece on canned letters to the editor from the DeVos campaign, I was at a school board legislative event last night and although DeVos could not attend, he sent a canned speech with a supporter. The platitudes per square inch (PPSI) readings were so high that I almost passed out.
