Watch for Dick’s Action Pack!
Last week I signed up to receive pecker head’s letters to the editor, and called on you all to do the same. The following Saturday I received my very own Dicklateer Action Pack in the mail. It came in a 4”ish x 8”ish size envelope ($.63 postage) and the recipient address was handwritten.


Contents of DAP include:

  • 1 3”x8” high glossy color lit, just as slick as dick is slick

    •      

  • 1 brochure chock full of D4G merchandise that I can buy, just to keep the Chinese busy

    •      

  • 1 donation solicitation card and 1 envelope, because Dick needs MY help

    •      

  • 1 DeVos for Govenor bumper sticker (which explains alot)

    •      

  • 1 8.5”x11” Dicklateer sign up sheet, so I can create my campaign downline

    • W00t!

    I got all of this just for signing up to write letters to the editor. Someone extracted my contact information, stuffed all of this crap into an envelope, hand scripted my address (poorly), ran it through Pitney Bowes machine, and popped it in the post. Dear God, that must’ve cost … cost … cost what??? Over a buck, at least.

    Ok, it doesn’t sound like much, but when you’re just giving it away to everyone who signs up at your website …

    Broke Broke Broke So, my fellow G4Gers, get all your friends and family to sign up for the DAP. Cost ‘em a few bucks … not so much to drain Dick’s resources (like drinking Lake Superior through a straw), but to give his staffers the opportunity to practice their penmanship.

      What a great idea. I never make it a practice to commit “Dick Drain”, but I think this might have to be the exception to that rule. I will spread the word!

      We’ve been putting together somewhat similar packets at the G4G headquarters for a while, but they are mostly just information about the campaign. No bumper stickers, trying to sell you cheap crap, etc.

      Well it’s good to do some outreach on the leads that come in through signups, but giving me a trinket so that I’ll give him my money and my vote … well, the only things missing were a prayer and a flag.

      By the way, not a single union bug in the DAP. SHOCKING.

      Roach spray for the mailbox and Lysol wipes for the hands! Although it is hard to wipe the scum away when it is 100% scum.
