‘If we keep doing what we did we are going to get what we’ve got.’ — Dick DeVos Dick DeVos knows what it takes to turn Michigan around. He is a proven business leader with years of experience as a job creator. He knows what businesses need to grow and create jobs and he will bring that same experience to Lansing.

We need a leader who is not a career politician or a lawyer and who has signed the front of a paycheck, not just the back. Dick will bring an outsider’s outlook to the state capitol and bring prosperity back to Michigan.

Dick is the only pro-life candidate for Governor. He supports efforts to protect and promote a culture of life, from conception to natural death. Dick is the only candidate for Governor who sup¬ports a ban on the late term procedure known as “partial-birth abortion.” Dick DeVos believes that marriage is defined as between one man and one woman and will stand up to any future attempts to redefine marriage in the state of Michigan.

Dick DeVos will protect your second amendment rights. He is the only candidate for Governor who will stand up for all law-abiding Michigan gun owners.

It’s time we elected a leader who takes bold action to solve problems, and Dick DeVos is the man for the job. Dick is a proven business leader who places value in actions, not catchphrases and platitudes.

Dick has pledged to end Michigan’s job-killing Single Business Tax. He has pledged to make the best possible education available to all students so they can work in the jobs of the 21st century.

As an 18-year-old, I am in a minority of the registered voting public. But everyone my age going off to college has the same problem: the lack of jobs.

We need a change from what we have now. Gov. Jennifer Granholm has not helped out my generation with her policies; she is just limiting the job market.

She also has taken money away from higher education, thus raising the price and lowering the value of the education.
