The Threat On Randy Colbry
![]() |
As most of you (regular readers) know, Prosecutor Randy Colbry backed out of his responsibility in the Holzhausen issue by claiming that he had reasons to fear for his “personal well-beingâ€. I did not believe what Colbry had to say because it didn’t make any sense. If someone threatens the prosecutor, he doesn’t just stop doing his job … he prosecutes the person for threatening him. The story just doesn’t ring true.
I received information last night about this threat, and it appears there was an excited statement made to a third party, that would qualify as a threat. There was more to it than just the statement, but I won’t detail it here. The threat was reported to Colbry, and he may be trying to have Holzhausen prosecuted accordingly. |
So it makes perfect sense at this point that Colbry is not proceeding with the Holzhausen case, because he now intends to be Gary’s victim.
I support the concept of punishing people who make threats. Lord knows my stalker is a bully and I was very frustrated that he could threaten to hurt me and the legal system couldn’t be bothered to help me. Our county has a lot of bullies, and the legal system pays no attention to them when they threaten us. But when one of them threatens Randy Colbry, the ground shakes and lightening strikes, and people speak of Attorneys General and special prosecutors. The entire state of Michigan comes crashing down on the guilty.
| Some lives … some people … are just worth more than others. The single woman who has three kids by three different fathers? The young man who lives in the bad part of town because that’s all he can afford on his WalMart job? The couple who lives in the trailer, or the old run down house? Well they deserve what they get, don’t they? They brought their problems onto themselves and they’re probably drug dealers anyway. Those people are a dime-a-dozen. If you don’t believe me, just ask anyone who works with Randy Colbry. |
The Value Of A Life |
In Shiawassee, we value Colbry above all others. Not because he chose to protect himself, but because he is so painfully, wretchedly ignorant and apathetic when it comes to protecting the rest of us.
Maybe Randy is just angry that he was threatened, or maybe he really does fear for his “personal well beingâ€. Perhaps he’ll remember this feeling the next time someone asks the legal system for protection.

[...] Jeers to Randy Colbry, who stated that it would be “tragic†to lose Margaret McAvoy. Leave it to Shiawassee’s inept and arrogant prosecutor to define a tragedy as something that would be an inconvenience to his workday. [...]
