Recommended Site: The Flint Sit Down Strike on Michigan Epic

Role play as a journalist who is sent out to cover the Sit Down. You get to watch a brief film and see some great stills. A timeline detailing the critical events of the strike is available after you watch the film.
Some minor drawbacks: the site is done in flash and there’s nothing for the visitor who doesn’t have flash capability. Also, there’s not much to this site once you’ve gone through the entire timeline. I expected the other objects on the desk to be interactive .. the typewriter & phone do nothing but look good. There are no easter eggs; you can’t turn off the desk lamp or open a drawer. The flash is wasted on this site.
Still, I can’t find a site like this and not recommend it. The stills capture the people and the character of the event. The timeline has links to the original media coverage. Anyone interested in the Sit Down should check it out. http://www.michiganepic.org/flintstrike/
