Are You Kidding Me With This?

To hear Owosso resident Sandy Roberts tell it, you’d think there was an open war against Christians in this country. May 5, National Prayer Day, is when Christians “can openly gather together as Christians and pray for our nation without repercussion.”

As opposed to all of those other times when they are arrested or beaten for praying?

She goes on ?

“Satan is running rampant in our country — homosexuality, abortion, violence, promiscuity, terrorist attacks. We as Christians must take a stand against this atrocity. We must not sit back and do nothing. Joining together and calling out to God in prayer can send Satan running.”

What do you when you go to mass?

What was “Justice Sunday?”

Why does the Argus Press dedicate an entire section to Christianity?

Because this “repercussion” is all in your head.

Pat Robertson recently declared that federal judges are a greater threat to our nation than “a few bearded terrorists who fly into buildings.”

Sandy Roberts, you’d be thrilled to know that you have something in common with the great Pat Robertson. You both give real Christians a bad name.
